A Vision Statement For Every
Church

A message from Archbishop
Robert J. Guffey of Texas
(a founding member of the CSP)
GREETINGS...
.....to all of the members of the Church of Seven Planes and to
all visitors to these pages.
Once again, as if by magic, we have come to another year. The pages
on the calendar seem to fall away more rapidly as each year comes
and goes.
As most of you know, or have read in the Church’s Forum,
the Church of Seven Planes has seen remarkable growth in the past
few years. Requests for ordinations, made from all over the world,
have increased tremendously.
This was made possible, in part, by the kind and generous donations
by our many ministers who have made an order from the catalog to
assist in funding this Church. As I am sure all of you know, this
Church does not take tithes and our only funding comes from the
sale for certificates and materials from our catalog.
We want to take this time to welcome all who are new to the Church
of Seven Planes as well as thank those who have through the years
been with us. We are growing. And each and every day seems to bring
something new into our Church.
We are grateful to all of our members who have been with us and
assisted us throughout the years we struggled and scrambled to stay
alive with the seemingly insurmountable problems we faced. But,
now we are doing better than ever and we want to welcome each and
everyone into the Church of Seven Planes.
The Internet is a wonderful thing. As glorious as was first radio
and then television. It has enabled this humble Church to span the
globe and bring our message to many places that would have been
impossible just a few short years ago.
Blessings and Peace to you all!
~A Holiday Message ~
HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED...
.....how some people donate millions of dollars to charity and
brag about it by telling the media and going on television to show
the world what a big person they are by donating that million dollar
check.
But what about the person who doesn't have the million dollars
to donate, but can afford to only donate $5-10.00 and doesn't say
anything about it? That $5-10.00 may mean a lot to that person and
it may be hard for that person to let go of the seemingly small
amount. Yet they don't go one television and get their names in
the paper when they donate that money maybe they do it and never
tell anyone, maybe they do it out of the goodness of their heart
knowing that what they donate will help someone else.
Who do you think does the greatest act of charity? The person donation
the million dollars or the person who donates the $5-10.00?
If you said the person donation the million dollars you would be
wrong!
The person who donates that $5-10.00 may be donating all they can
and sometimes it actually can mean the difference between buying
something for their own children or even in some cases eating that
day.
They may be hurting for money as is the case these days with so
many people out of work and the economy being as it is. Yet they
donate what they can and in some cases more than they can afford
to so that others might be helped.
Do you think you can do something this holiday season to help others?
If so why not dig deep into your pocket and help someone less fortunate
than yourself?
It is said that we cast our bread upon the water and it comes back
to us tenfold, of course I am not suggesting that you give all of
your money to charity in the hopes it comes back to you tenfold.
I am suggesting though that you give until it hurts. The next time
you hear of a family that is having problems, why not get their
address enclose $5-10.00 in an envelope and see to it that they
get the money without letting them or anyone else know where it
came from.
I think it should become a tradition for people to do that, and
not just on the holidays but all during the year. In today’s
economy if you have a job and have food on the table, you are more
fortunate than a lot of people.
So if you are in the position of having a little extra money this
year, why not donate it to some needy family?
Blessings and Peace to you all!
RELIGION
THE BASIC BASIC PRINCIPLES
There is one religion, only one, though there may appear to be
many. When understood according to their mystical or true meaning,
they are basically the same, proclaiming the Truth and teaching
the relation of God to His creation. All sound religious creeds
are valid and rather than condemning each other, their followers
should be reconciled.
Unfortunately, people have used religion to advance their claim
to superiority and promote separation rather than to advance peace,
harmony and inner growth.
Perhaps if people realized that when religious books tell us to
destroy unbelievers. We are actually being told to eliminate negative,
materialistic and doubting thoughts and ideas within us. For truly,
they are our enemies and must be destroyed if we are to reach our
spiritual fulfillment.
The world is our home, and our brothers and sisters are all humankind.
